Protein Sciences engaged PharmaBioSource Realty to identify facilities to support its biologics drug substance capacity requirements for the manufacture of its novel influenza vaccine, Flublok®.
The Solution
PharmaBioSource Realty identified a suitable facility on Pfizer’s Pearl River, New York campus available for lease. The 78,000-square-foot facility housed a 2,000L fermenter that could support Protein Sciences’ Baculovirus Expression Vector System (BEVS) production. A multi-year lease was executed.
