Our Story

PharmaBioSource was born when our founder and CEO, William (Bill) Wiederseim was helping sell a pharmaceutical plant for a multinational Pharma company. When the client expressed how much quicker and more efficient this divestment and transaction could be, were there a single company who understood the engineering and manufacturing of the drug, but could also manage the financials and accounting, Bill got an idea. He went out and put together a team of Pharma industry executives, engineers with biopharma buildings experience, scientists and finance people with industry experience. Bringing them all together, he launched PharmaBioSource, a specialized single entity that could spearhead biopharma transactions from conception to close.

From those humble beginnings over 20 years ago, we have grown to a multinational team with a presence on three continents, over 100+ transactions in therapeutic assets and pharmaceutical facilities with a value of over US $4 Billion. PharmaBioSource was created to solve a problem, and that is still our expertise today.
