The Challenge
Percivia, a joint venture between DSM Pharmaceuticals and Crucell, engaged PharmaBioSource Realty to identify laboratory space to support the development of a novel human retinal cell line.
The Solution
PharmaBioSource Realty identified facility options in Cambridge, Montgomery County (Maryland), and Research Triangle Park (North Carolina), and solicited lease proposals and incentive packages from state and local governments. A 40,000-square-foot facility in Cambridge near Kendall Square, leased from Draper Laboratories, was selected. After execution of the lease, PharmaBioSource provided project management for laboratory renovations and interim COO operational start-up support.
