Dr. Specka has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with increasing levels of responsibilities in cGMP operations, most recently as the General Manager & Vice President of Apotex / Signa SA de CV, Mexico. He has also held senior operations positions at Siegfried, Evonik and Bayer with a focus on small molecule API and fine chemicals manufacturing. Dr. Specka also has experience in strategic planning, P&L responsibilities, M&A, supply chain management, process optimization and environmental compliance. Dr. Specka holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the Max Planck Institute of Radiation Chemistry, Mülheim, Germany.
