Lease of Cell Therapy R&D Laboratories

PharmaBioSource Realty provided site selection, project management and interim COO services to Percivia, a joint venture between DSM Pharmaceuticals and Crucell, to lease 40,000 SF of laboratory space from Draper Laboratories in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

PharmaBioSource Realty provided site selection services to Percivia, to identify laboratory space to support the development of a novel human retinal cell line.   A number of facility options were identified in Cambridge, Montgomery County, Maryland and Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.  PharmaBioSource Realty solicited lease proposals and incentive packages from the state and local governments.  A 40,000 SF facility in Cambridge near Kendall Square was selected. 

After execution of the lease, Percivia engaged PharmaBioSource to provide project management services to oversee laboratory renovations as well as interim COO operational start-up support.  The start-up support services established facility permitting, utilities, service contracts, procurement, recruiting, IT infrastructure, environmental health and safety (EHS) and other operational requirements.
